|
Bed |
| The
bed is a portal frame formed from two columns, linked by a table, an upper
beam and a stiffening beam.
These parts are assembled rigidly with screws and centering pins.
The table, the upper beam, the columns are of high quality cast iron and
heavily ribbed.
Vertical guide ways are provided in front of the columns in order two
ensure cross rail movement.
On the upper part there are mounted the worm reducers for cross rail movement.
There are 6 bed versions depending on their height (see technical features). |
| |
Plate
and clamping supports |
 |
The plate is made of special cast
iron and based a ribbed structure.
Plate motion onto the bed is performed by means with cross roller
bearings, tapered bearing, or hydrostatically.
The plate is the actuated in turning mode through the gearbox (with
heat treated cylindrical gears), by means of the secondary shaft
and the electric motor with stepless adjustable speed.
In milling mode the plate is actuated from an electric motor and
slow feed box, using a duplex worm gearing an a hydraulic system
for backlash compensation.
The plate is hydraulic locked and released.
The four clamping supports located on the plate, have a forget steel
body and their jaws are made of cemented and hardened steel. |
|
Movable
cross rail |
| The cross rail is
one of the main parts of the lathe, with the role of guiding working
supports and shifting the tool T in horizontal direction.
Another role is of bearing the horizontal ball screw and supporting
the horizontal feed reducer.
The cross rail is the quality cast iron monoblock construction heavily
ribbed, provided with guideways made of high alloy steel, heat treated
and grinding that overtake the efforts without deformations.
Cross rail moving on the bed is done rapidly and slowly by means
of some trapezoidal screws driven by an electric motor by means
of two worm reducer coupled mechanically.
During part machining, the cross rail is locked in position on the
upright beam guides by means of devices. |
 |
|
Working
supports |
 |
Vertical
support “F” has the role for achieving milling turning,
boring and drilling operations, guiding the railhead ram and achieving
the horizontal movement (x-axis).
It is made of a longitudinal slide of high - strength cast iron, heavily
ribbed which moves along the cross rail. |
|
|
Railhead
ram |
|
| Railhead ram
has a square section heaving dimension 250x250 / 250x300 mm.
The movements ram guiding in the vertical support is made by means of
rolling elements and sliding plates in the direction of the main cutting
force take-over.
The guiding together with rolling elements and sliding plates ensures
precision high capacity and taking-over forces, as well as the lack of
vibrations.
The railhead ram movement is done by a ball screw.
The railhead ram can be hydraulic blocked into the slide. Into the cross
rail ram it is bearing milling spindle provided with an ISO cone. |
|
 |
Slow
feed box |
In order
to ensure the circular feed (slow rotation)the faceplate during the
milling operation, there is provided a slow feed box driven by a DC
servomotor.
For eliminating the play at the slow feed (achieved with the duplex
worm) it is completed with a special hydraulic drive of taking over
the side play at the output gearing of the pinion (double) - crown
type.
Slow feed box uncoupling is made by means a electromagnetic couple.
Faceplate angular position is done using a transducer; its type depends
on CNC equipment.
“C” axes origin is detected by means of two sensors. |
|
|
Hydro-Pneumatic
equipment |
It is formed of an independent, module
unit, linked to the machine.
It uses filtered oil pressure and air under pressure from the network.
For pressure control there are used antivibration manometers.
The pneumatic equipment uses air from the network, having a 5 - 6
Atm pressure.
Pressure is maintained by means of pneumo-hydraulic accumulators. |
|
Electric
equipment |
Numerical
control equipment |
|
| Two-five
axes contouring numerical control equipment ensure machine operation in
the CNC range.
This equipment may be of made by Siemens, GE Fanuc, Fagor, Allen Bradley,
etc., in the standard version and with options in conformity with the
request of the customer. |
|
Automatic
lubrication equipment |
It
consist in a gearbox and a main spindle continuous and discontinuous
lubrication installation, that ensures lubrication on the cross rail
guideways, the ball support gliding and rolling guideways.
The automatic lubrication equipment is provided with pressure switches
that confirm right functioning of lubrication. |
|
Special
accessories |
The
special accessories for the two lathe types (SC 11-53 CNC/MS and SC
11-53 CNC/MS+F) are: tool holders, faceplate protection, bed and slide
way guide protection, cooling installation, chip conveyer, faceplate
with 3 or 6 jaw automatic clamping (at SC 11-17CNC), two working supports,
lift platform, etc.
At the request of the beneficiary, there can be made increased height
machine versions: 250 mm or 500 mm. |
|
Tool magazine |
The
tool magazine can be mounted on the end of the cross rail, or on a column
which is set on the ground; it moves vertically at the same time with cross
rail.
The magazine has 12 or 16 posts for 16 tool-holders.
The disk is driven by a Maltese cross mechanism (or a gear rim pinion mechanism)
and is provided with a tool holder coding system.
The tool holders having the same upper side, are set into the lower side
of the railhead ram by means of a mechanic - hydraulic device.
The tool holders are brought above the tool holders disk by the railhead
ram.
By releasing the piston within the tool clamping the device, the respective
tool holder shifts down and gets on the disk. |
|
Tool
holders |
 |
The standard tool-holders for the lathes series SC 11-53 CNC/MS+F
are the following:
-Tool-holder for the milling with ISO 50 cone for tool fixing;
-Tool-holder for turning, having section cutter 40x40 mm
-Tool-holder bar for boring, having section cutter 25x25 mm
-Angular milling device with ISO 50 cone for tool fixing
The tool-holders are set into the railhead ram by means of 2 couplings
with frontal teeth.
Besides all these, (at special order), can be delivered the tool-holders
having the opportunity for machining specific surfaces.
The standard tool holders for the lathe series SC 11-53 CNC/MS are:
-Standard tool-holder
-Special left tool-holder
-Special right tool-holder
-Drilling tool-holder
-Boring tool-holder 110 and 80 mm |
|
| The
electric equipment consist of: cabinet with apparatuses placed near the
machine (right hand side) pendant movable control panel and electric installation
on the machine asynchronous motors, feed servomotors, main drive motor,
electrovalves, pressure sensors, electromagnetic clutches, microswitches
and electric wiring. |
